Michael Kennedy

Michael Kennedy is a Louisiana born artist currently based in New Orleans. Having studied visual arts at NOCCA and Loyola University, he is classically trained in painting, drawing, printmaking, among other mediums. His artwork showcases a deep appreciation for his home, depicting the beauty of Louisiana’s nature and people. Michael is currently working out of Camp Street Studios and also acts as an artist assistant to a handful of creatives in the city. He has worked in curation and event coordination at his college as well as the professional world - curating shows at Loyola and installing exhibitions at The Parlor Gallery, NOAFA, Good Children Gallery, and The Front.
