Nakia Fofana

Nakia is a graduate from Tulane University with majors in Studio Art and Philosophy. Her interests include drawing, painting, sewing, crocheting, printmaking, and writing. Her work utilizes color theory to play with conceptual perception on 2-dimensional surfaces. Her work explores themes surrounding the spiritual, feminine gender identity and nature. Outside of making art, Nakia enjoys listening to music, cooking, going on walks, and reading.
