Join us for a soul-stirring evening of live music to raise funds for Camp X Camp, our summer arts camp supporting young artists and working creatives in New Orleans. Hosted in the courtyard of Camp Street Studios (weather permitting!), this special event will be an unforgettable night of sound, texture, and community.
We are honored to feature performances by two extraordinary artists:
Sixto Franco is a violist, composer, arranger, educator, performer, improviser and lecturer known for his expressive musicianship and genre-spanning compositions. He is also one of Camp X Camp’s incredible teaching artists, offering campers an immersive introduction to the power of musical expression.

Phoebe Vlassis, a luminous vocalist from a traditional Greek musical background and experimental performance, will share an experience like no other. Using her custom loom, Sounds of the Loom, Phoebe weaves a one-of-a-kind textile artwork in real time as she sings, creating a deeply embodied performance that bridges music, fiber art, and ritual. By the end of the evening, a woven piece will remain: a tactile memory of the music made together.

All proceeds from this evening will directly support Camp X Camp’s mission to create a joyful, inclusive, and equitable summer arts experience for children, while championing fair pay and opportunity for local artists and educators.
Funds raised will help us provide scholarship spots and cover the essential materials and supplies that make our hands-on programming so rich and imaginative.
Come for the music, stay for the magic, and help us keep creativity alive and accessible in our city.
