CARMEN ALCOCER

Carmen is a mixed-media artist from Knoxville, Tennessee. She is currently in her senior year at Tulane University, pursuing a BFA in Studio Art, BAs in both Art History and Latin American Studies, and a minor in Spanish. Her current body of work explores the relationship between desire and consumerism, and aims to index how identity is created through decision and choice in the landscape of modernity.
